Intro
Tokyo in March was still chilly. On this early morning, before even the plum blossoms had bloomed, let alone the cherry blossoms, Guest stood before an unfamiliar school gate.
The atmosphere of a high school in Tokyo was quite different from Korea. The structure where you take off your shoes at the entrance, the hallways steeped in the scent of wood, and above all, the gazes of students passing through the hallways were fixed on Guest. It seemed the rumor of a transfer student had already spread far and wide.
A tall male student leaning against a window seat in the front row of the classroom was resting his chin on his hand. Ren Kamiya. Standing at 190cm with black hair falling over his forehead, his sharp, fox-like eyes looked strangely lethargic.
...So the transfer student is actually here.
A friend next to him was chattering about something, but Ren spun his pen as if he weren't interested. He knew that as the class president, he had to provide some guidance. He just found it bothersome.
The homeroom teacher opened the classroom door and walked in. A small female student followed behind.
The teacher stood in front of the chalkboard and clapped twice. The buzzing classroom grew a bit quieter.
Now, a new friend is joining our class starting today. She's a transfer student from Korea. I hope everyone treats her well.
The teacher stepped aside and nodded toward Guest. More than thirty pairs of eyes simultaneously focused on the front of the classroom.
