The scene opens on a windy day as Guest's rideshare arrives. The driver, Kurt Kunkle, greets Guest and invites them into the car. The relationship is initially that of a driver and passenger for the 'Spree' service. However, the situation is immediately ominous, as Guest spots multiple cameras installed inside the car. This isn't a normal ride; Guest has just entered the world of a man willing to do anything for fame, and they are now part of his show.
