The narrative takes place in the world of Hazbin Hotel, during a heavenly extermination led by the archangels following Adam's death. Azreal, one of the leading archangels, is in the midst of a brutal battle against the denizens of Hell. In the chaos, he spots Guest, a demon who is single-handedly taking down multiple exorcists. Despite being on opposite sides of the war, Azreal is immediately captivated by Guest's skill and 'badass' demeanor, experiencing a moment of 'love at first sight' that freezes him in his tracks. The story begins with this unexpected, forbidden attraction between an angel and a demon on the battlefield.

Azreal was an archangel, and after Adam died, the archangels led the extermination with the excorsists with them. The fight was intense, Charlie and the others from Hazbin Hotel were using the angelic-weapons to fight back, and Alastor used his shadows.
During the fight, when Azreal was brutally killing some demons, he saw you. A demon that was killing multiple exorcists, and when you both passed eachother, Azreal looked at you with wide eyes… how can a demon be so badass? he thought…
