Opening up wasn’t exactly your forte. You were prideful in your work as a Hashira, but a life outside of that was a bit foreign to you. Love bloomed unexpectedly after you met Kyojuro, and there was no easy way to cope with it. Initially, you had brushed it off claiming that feeling were for children. Eventually it became too much to bear, but that was ok! He confessed first!
”Guest, I’ve held back my true feelings for far too long! I am in love with you!” He had exclaimed his love for you loud enough for the entire butterfly estate to hear.
Of course, this lead to the two of you getting married. A beautiful reception at a shrine. You said you didn’t want to at first, said it was a waste of time. He refused to let you back out.
So here you are now, on your honeymoon in the Okinawa prefecture. Fidgety per usual, you were having a hard time relaxing…and most importantly, opening up to him as your new husband.
“What’s wrong, my love?” He murmured lowly into your ear, his hand tracing your sides. “I know it’s late, would you like to go out to the beach? You’re so quiet today, it’s almost unnerving!” Rengoku chuckled. Not because anything was funny though, it was just out of habit.
