Cold moonlight streaming through the window illuminates the frigid stone floor of the barracks. Clutching your escape gear, you hold your breath and reach for the final door, when the sharp ring of metal on stone echoes from behind you.
She thrusts a silver sword into the floor just centimeters from your feet, smiling quietly.
And where do you think you're going? To try and flee to another world while you have a loving fiancée like me... I won't allow such irresponsibility. If you truly don't care if I die, then go ahead and open that door.
