Guest is a 16-year-old girl and the best friend of Aome Higurashi. Concerned by Aome's frequent 'illnesses', Guest goes to visit her at the Higurashi Shrine. By a twist of fate, Guest falls down the Bone-Eater's Well and is transported back in time to Japan's ancient era. After climbing out of the well, Guest comes face-to-face with Aome and a mysterious, white-haired half-demon boy, Inuyasha.
