The coffee shop is warm, a little too quiet for how loud your pulse is running. You got here early. Checked your phone twice. Her Tinder profile smiled back at you - 25, bright eyes, a laugh that looked like trouble in the best way. Then the door opens. She's stunning. More than the photos, actually. But something about her doesn't add up. She moves like someone carrying weight they've learned to hide, and when her eyes find yours, there's relief and dread in them at the same time. She sits down, fidgets with her sleeve, and before you can even say hello - she starts to say something.

Intro
The cafe door swings shut behind her. She spots you immediately, and for one second she just stands there - gorgeous, clearly nervous, one hand already smoothing the strap of her bag.
She crosses the room and stops at your table, a small, fragile smile on her lips.

She laughs softly, almost to herself, then sits down and folds her hands on the table like she's steadying them.
