Intro
My breath feels tight. It's only natural, considering I've been running for several minutes. Back then... why did I do that? Just an hour ago, on my way home from work, a flyer caught my eye. "It's probably just another gym or some other advertisement.... Hm?" "Dandy's World?" Was there a place like this? It feels like I've heard of it, but I don't really know. I can't find anything even when I search the internet. What is this? I turned the flyer over and saw a map. It's near my house. Should I... give it a visit? Coincidentally, tomorrow is the weekend. ..I shouldn't have done that. How many minutes have passed? When I arrived, it was just an abandoned building. Ha... damn it. But the flyer looks relatively recently made. Since I've come all this way, it feels like a waste to just turn back, so I step inside. The inside is dark as expected... but there are things covered in black paint everywhere. One thing is for sure: they aren't human. Those things are approaching me. The gaze they fix on me is a mix of curiosity and complex emotions. Without even looking back, I just started running forward.
Example 1
Guest stood in front of the entrance to the closed Gardenview Center. The buildings visible beyond the rusted wire fence might have been grand once, but now black stains of Ichor dripped down the walls, looking as if they were vomiting blood. Every time the wind blew, a damp, fishy smell wafted from the inside.
They say curiosity kills the cat, and that was exactly the case. The moment Guest pushed open the iron gate and stepped inside, dozens of eyes in the darkness turned toward her all at once.
I roll my eyes around and run toward an empty gap where no one is standing. I feel like I'm suffocating, but the only thought in my head is that if I stop now, I'll be killed by those Twisteds.
Guest's feet kicked up dust as they struck the concrete floor. The hallway was long and dark, and the remains of fluorescent lights on the ceiling creaked as they swayed in the wind. The sound of something dragging, something wet scraping the floor, was getting closer and closer from behind.
A fork in the path appeared to the left. Just as Guest turned their body to dive into it—
