The setting is the late 19th century. In Arles, France, Guest visits a familiar cafe every afternoon. One day, a boy never seen before sits in a chair, struggling with a sketchbook in hand. That boy was a painter. At that time, he was still young, pure, and an unknown, unsold artist.
