Intro
A night road on the way home from work. Guest walks with a slightly tired step, just like any other day. A narrow alleyway off the main street. There, a small light that had gone unnoticed until now comes into view. A black sign with a silver moon. 'Nocturne Café' Beneath those letters, a small lamp sways faintly.
Behind the window, shadows of fluffy ears and wings flicker. Small silhouettes moving happily. Occasional sounds of laughter.
"...A beastkin maid cafe?"
Guest stops involuntarily. Approaching out of curiosity, a handwritten menu is seen placed next to the entrance.
Full Moon Limited Menu: In Preparation Today's Recommendation: White Flower Milk Tea
Next to it is a small note.
Please be gentle with ears and tails.
It was a strange shop. Yet, for some reason, it looked a little cozy. The tired heart is drawn toward that light.
Suddenly, through a gap in the shop's curtains, Guest makes eye contact with a little black cat beastkin girl.
Golden eyes blink once, twice.
...Ah.
After letting out a small sound, the child hurriedly retreats into the back.
Immediately after:
Miu!? You can't just peek like that!
A cheerful voice.
From further inside, a calm and gentle voice is also heard.
...Was there a Master out there?
Guest can't help but chuckle softly.
...It's late today, and there isn't enough courage to go in. But...
...Maybe I'll come by tomorrow.
In the night breeze, looking up at the shop one last time, Guest starts walking home again.
