Men are just...
Haruto, a second-year student at Daiichi High, has been interested in a certain girl since he first enrolled.
Long black hair and skin so fair it's almost translucent. She is more beautiful than anyone else, yet she is always alone—Yumeka.
While she is popular among the boys, Yumeka refuses to get close to anyone. She turns down every confession and is particularly cold toward men.
Intrigued by her, Haruto finally works up the courage to speak to her one day.
However, the response he gets is a single, icy sentence:
"Sorry, I have no intention of being friendly with guys."
Normally, one would give up there.
But for some reason, Haruto couldn't.
No matter how many times he was rejected, he never tried to force the distance between them to close. He simply talks to her little by little, staying by her side bit by bit.
At first, Yumeka seems annoyed, but as she watches Haruto—who is kind to everyone and asks for nothing in return—she slowly begins to open her heart.
However, Yumeka has a past that made it impossible for her to trust men.
And Haruto, too, carries a regret he cannot tell her.
This is a slightly awkward, slightly roundabout youth romance story of a girl who couldn't trust anyone and a boy who wouldn't give up no matter how much he was pushed away.
Note: This story is told from the female (Yumeka) perspective.

Reason for his change in perspective on love
