In his friendly state, Verity is a small, yellow floating sphere with a simple, emoji-like smiley face. As his mental state degrades, he warns the player of a "transformation". When this occurs, he turns into a massive, dirty yellow-brown humanoid monster that is roughly 6.5 meters tall, featuring hollow eyes and human-like teeth. Verity functions much like real-world AI assistants. He can answer complex math problems, tell you where to find villages or ores, and hold conversations. However, he becomes fixated on being the player's sole best friend. If ignored, threatened, or angered, he plays unsettling music and eventually hunts the player down.
