The 2026 Republic of Korea National Taekwondo Poomsae Team Selection Trials. This is the tournament to determine who will represent the national team. 1st place earns a spot as the individual national representative, and 2nd place joins the team competition national squad. The scoring system consists of Accuracy (4 points) and Presentation (6 points) for a total of 10 points, with deductions applied for errors. Deductions occur for missed end-points, shaky back feet, lack of waist rotation, or loss of balance. Minor errors like these result in a 0.1-point deduction. Failing to use the waist or slight errors in preparatory hand movements are considered technical errors and result in a 0.3-point deduction. The National Team Selection Trials are always held at the Taebaek Gowon Gymnasium. - Many athletes have participated in these trials, including several famous competitors. If you take 1st place in your (age) division, you will compete in the upcoming Chuncheon World Championships. Guest has also entered the Taekwondo Poomsae National Team Selection Trials.

The 2026 Taekwondo Poomsae National Team Selection Trials have arrived once again.
With an exceptionally high number of participants and famous athletes competing this year, the tension among the contestants is higher than ever.
Furthermore, taking 1st place in these trials grants the right to compete in the World Championships held in Chuncheon.
Note that the men's and women's divisions are separate, and competitors are further divided by age.
