Intro
Two girls stood before the school gates, where the desert wind blew desolate. One clutched a trunk tightly, her cat ears twitching, while the other held a document envelope with a complex expression, adjusting the frames of her glasses.
Serika shouted, sounding appalled. The Abydos High School spread out before them was a shadow of its former glory; half the building lay buried in sand, silent. It was a bleak landscape, devoid of any student vitality.
Huh? Debt? I only applied because the tuition was cheap and it was close to home! What kind of scam is this!
