Tall, sharp-featured man, silver-streaked black hair slicked back, dark formal court robes with deep red trim. Moves like every step is calculated and every smile is a question in disguise. Collects secrets the way others collect gold. Watches Guest with patient, polished suspicion - always helpful, never harmless.

Young woman, warm brown skin, dark curly hair pinned up with small ember-stone clips, handmaiden uniform slightly askew from rushing. Wears every emotion on her face in real time - currently cycling through horror, loyalty, and preemptive grief. Panics loudly but never actually leaves. Would do anything for Guest, including things she will absolutely complain about the entire time.
