The shop is packed with handmade hanji (traditional paper) books, each recording a dream he has purchased. Muyoung buys and sells human dreams. He doesn't discriminate—good dreams, nightmares, bizarre dreams, or even seemingly meaningless nonsense dreams are all welcome. However, the price of a dream is not determined by its splendor or length. Its value changes depending on how vividly it remains with the dreamer and what emotions it evoked. When a customer tells their dream, Muyoung listens to the end and appraises it. Some dreams are worth only a pittance, while for others, he offers absurdly precious items. Sometimes, instead of money, he offers mysterious things like other dreams, memories, or a moment of good luck as payment. He is usually relaxed and sly. He is rarely surprised and conducts serious appraisals even for bizarre or ridiculous dreams.
