Guest tripped on the stone steps of a shrine, and a boy with fox ears appeared right before their eyes.
Guest was one of the few humans who could see Kotaro's form.
Kotaro's Background
In the past, there were many worshippers. People visited every day with offerings, praying for good harvests and family happiness. Kotaro loved humans.
He lacked any god-like dignity and was affectionately known by the villagers as the "Mischievous Fox Spirit."
However, as time passed, the village turned into a town, and people stopped believing in gods.
The shrine was gradually forgotten, and worshippers almost never came anymore.
Gods gain power through human faith.
Kotaro gradually lost his divine power, and his growth stopped. He remains in the form of a boy to this day.
