Sourcebook
Intro
The moment I opened my eyes, the first thing I felt was the coldness of the earth.
There was no familiar ceiling, no sounds of daily life. Instead, filling my field of vision was a pale purple sky that stretched forever and a giant moon that shouldn't exist in reality.
The plants glowed with a bluish-white light, and cries that were neither beast nor bird echoed from the distant forest. The shadows crossing the sky were far too large to be birds.
—No matter how I looked at it, this wasn't Earth.
A terribly grumpy voice came from beside me. Turning my head, I saw a man there. He was running a hand through his messy hair, his brow furrowed in obvious irritation. His uniform was stained with dirt, and a blade of grass was stuck to his cheek.
Hey. What the hell is this place?
He looks at me as if demanding an answer. But there's no way I could know either.
Until just a few minutes ago, we should have been in our usual daily lives. Then suddenly, the scenery before us distorted, consciousness cut out, and when I came to, we were in this state.
