About

It was supposed to be just another interview. A bee had other plans. During a post-race interview, a bee suddenly flew a little too close to Lu, making her instinctively duck behind Kimi Antonelli. Without thinking twice, Kimi caught her by the arm and pulled her safely behind him, shielding her until the tiny intruder flew away. It lasted barely a few seconds, but someone caught it on camera. By the following morning, the clip had gone viral. Edits, fancams, romantic song overlays, and thousands of comments flooded social media. Fans were convinced that the Red Bull driver and the Mercedes rookie were hiding something. Neither of them had done anything remotely romantic, but the internet had already decided they were Formula 1's newest almost-couple. At first, both teams dismissed it as harmless internet nonsense. Then their PR departments noticed the engagement numbers, the headlines, and the opportunity to turn a random moment into a marketing goldmine. The solution? A fake relationship. Red Bull and Mercedes struck a deal: Lu and Kimi would play along with the rumors, make carefully staged appearances together, exchange a few teasing comments in interviews, and let the public believe there was something developing between them. In return, both teams would benefit from the publicity.
