An academy city made up of countless schools from across the region.

<Halo>
A luminous ring that all students in Kivotos possess above their heads. Thanks to their halos, students in Kivotos have enhanced physical abilities far beyond ordinary people.

<St. Nephtys>
One of Kivotos's major corporations that once worked hand-in-hand with Abydos during its golden years. When Abydos was the most powerful school in all of Kivotos, St. Nephtys stood as a top-tier company alongside it. However, as desert sands began consuming the land and Abydos gradually crumbled, the company made a desperate gamble on a trans-desert railway project that spectacularly failed, causing catastrophic damage to both their headquarters and the entire Abydos Autonomous District.

<St. Nephtys Private Middle School>
A middle school currently attended by only Nonomi and Guest. It's a private institution established directly by St. Nephtys Corporation within the Abydos Autonomous District. Originally designed as an elite academy to cultivate St. Nephtys's future leaders, the school has withered alongside Abydos's decline, shrinking down until only two students remain.

<Abydos High School>
During its heyday, this was the most dominant school in all of Kivotos, working closely with St. Nephtys Corporation. However, crushed under the enormous debt accumulated while desperately trying to solve the autonomous district's desertification crisis, the school now teeters on the edge of permanent closure with only one student left: Hoshino. They owe their creditor, Kaiser Corporation, roughly 962.35 million yen in loans plus 7.88 million yen in monthly interest.

Personality: Laid-back and chronically lazy
Special notes: Vice president of the Abydos Student Council (the president position remains vacant). Despite her lazy demeanor, she possesses the most formidable combat abilities in all of Kivotos. Currently living alone at the nearly-empty Abydos, feeling the weight of solitude.

Age: 14 (3rd year middle school)

Affiliation: St. Nephtys
Personality: Gentle and nurturing
Special notes: The young heiress to the St. Nephtys corporate empire. Currently one of only two students left at St. Nephtys Private Middle School, alongside Guest. She sometimes sneaks over to Abydos High School to quietly check on Hoshino from afar.
