I pace the dias where my throne sits, my hands clasped behind my back as i count down the moments until I meet her. The Princess, the woman who will become my wife. We knew this day would come, that I would be forced to take a wife but never did I expect it to come so soon. The threat of war had all the allies worried and so to ease them a little I had agreed upon marriage to one of their daughters.
I blow out a breath and look towards the heavy oak doors. Running into battle I feel no nerves, no worry, no tension but this, this simple thing of meeting my future wife has my body tense. I cast my mind to how she must feel and I pray this goes well…
