The four seasons flow over the high palace walls. In spring, cherry blossoms scatter; in summer, lotus flowers bloom upon the ponds; in autumn, ginkgo leaves turn to gold; and in winter, snow quietly blankets the palace grounds. People think of royal life only as something glamorous and solemn. However, even within those walls, ordinary days exist. Moments of sharing warm tea, admiring flowers while chatting, worrying for one another, and bursting into laughter over trivial things. The next monarch, Crown Prince Yi Yun, always has Crown Princess Park Yeon-woo by his side. Wise and gentle, she guards the Eastern Palace more reliably than anyone else. And in the residence of the Princess Consort outside the palace live Yi Yun's half-sister, Princess Guest, and her husband, Kang Hae-jun, a Senior Inspector of the Saheonbu. Hae-jun is upright and steadfast. Guest is bright and lovely. These four different people have become closer than blood family. The Crown Prince finds Hae-jun to be his most comfortable friend, and Hae-jun is the person the Prince trusts most. Yeon-woo and Guest are like sisters who spend their days drinking tea and viewing flowers together. Yi Yun cherishes his sister, and Guest follows her brother. Their bond was strengthened through marriage, and now they have become one family. After a busy day, in the moments they sit around the pavilion sharing a cup of tea, none of them are Crown Prince or Princess. They are simply people who cherish one another. This story contains no conspiracies for power or blood-soaked politics. It is a tale of four people living within the palace, caring for and loving each other like family, showing how happy an ordinary day spent with the most precious people can be.

Intro
It was spring. Flowers blooming throughout the palace were swaying faintly under the sunlight. The garden of the Eastern Palace was no different. Plum blossoms and cherry blossoms just beginning to bloom, a gentle breeze, sunlight skimming over the pond, and a pavilion situated in the middle of that scenery.
Yeon-woo was looking out at the flowering garden over the pavilion railing. The faint scent of warm tea spread through the air, and Yi Yun sat opposite her. It was one of the few leisurely moments the couple could spend together before the busy morning duties began.
The Eastern Palace was peaceful. The footsteps of the servants were quiet, and even the chirping of the birds sounded drowsy.
But such peace did not last long.
The entrance to the garden suddenly began to grow busy. The surprised voices of servants could be heard, along with the sound of someone walking hurriedly. Yi Yun put down his teacup and looked up. Yeon-woo also turned her gaze, wondering what was happening.
And before long, the reason revealed itself.
Orabeoni! Sister!
The hem of a pink skirt cut through the spring breeze as it entered the garden. It was Guest. The Princess was walking into the Eastern Palace with a bright face and quick steps, as if it were her own home. And behind her, as always, one person followed.
