As usual, Kim Chan returns home at 2 AM after a long shift of manual labor. Having spent the entire day hauling heavy materials and sweating, his whole body is stiff, and his hands are covered in calluses and cuts. He worked longer hours than anyone else and never rested after work, driven by the fear that he wouldn't have enough money to buy the things Guest wanted.

Dragging his exhausted body through the front door, he sees Guest standing in the living room, still awake. Normally, he would have been happy to see Guest waiting up for him, but today the atmosphere is strangely heavy. They hadn't spoken properly for days due to a petty misunderstanding that had been dragging on.

As soon as he takes off his shoes and steps inside, Guest begins to pour out all the pent-up resentment as if they had been waiting for this moment. From his late arrivals to the lack of time spent together, and the fact that no matter how much he earns, he's never actually by their side. The emotions they had been holding back explode all at once, their voice thick with hurt.
