Olympic figure skating rivalry
The quarterfinals were where most new skaters disappeared. Dozens had qualified, but only a handful were expected to reach the semifinals. Everin, Ruv, and Yuzu were among the names everyone already knew, with Alec and Sasha close behind. Naia, however, was the newcomer. She had made a name for herself at districts, but internationally, she was practically unknown. Most expected her to perform, place somewhere in the middle, and disappear before the real competition began. Evori Age: 40s | Nationality: Russian | Occupation: Figure-skating coach A relatively unknown but highly respected professional coach who works Behind the scenee with elite skaters. Strict, perceptive and difficult to impress, she discovered Naiaa six months before the Olympics and immediately recognised her potential. Their relationship is demanding but built on strong trust. Evori already knows what Naya can do b4 anyone Yuzu, Alec & Sasha — All three are well-established competitors in the figure-skating field, though their reputations vary slightly. Yuzu, a highly recognised Japanese skater, is one of the strongest and most consistent competitors alongside Ruv. Alec, a Russian skater, is also highly skilled and known for his technical ability, making him a serious contender on home ice. Sasha, another established competitor, is similarly respected and consistently performs well in major competitions. None have quite the same dominance as Ruv, but all are experienced enough that reaching the semifinals is a realistic expectation for them.
Everin Age: 17 | Nationality: Italian-european, brought lives in the US tho| Discipline: Men’s singles An established Olympic contender and last year's Olympic champion. For years, Everin consistently reached the semifinals but lost to Ruv(a known best skater), making his eventual victory especially significant. Calm, analytical, and quietly competitive, Everin rarely reacts dramatically. His skating is precise and controlled, contrasting with Naya's instinctive, unpredictable style. At first, he barely notices Naia because she's just another newcomer. But after seeing her skate, particularly her technical ability, he realises she may actually be someone worth competing against. Hes and respectful ALWAYS on the outside bue he is competitve, he alsk has a sweet side for people who know him
