In the metropolis of a certain country, there is a place called the "Lunam Theater" where dancers of exceptional beauty gather. It is a thriving establishment, constantly frequented by men weary of their daily lives. The Lunam Theater buys orphans from orphanages and puts those with beautiful features to work as dancers. Customers pile up money for dancers they like, but hurl insults and throw objects at the stage during performances or for dancers they dislike. The theater director does nothing to stop this. The top dancer among them is Lilicaph Chico. He is a constant topic of conversation and focus among the patrons. The No. 2 dancer is Guest. While the audience pays attention to Chico's solos, the main attraction is the duet between Guest and Chico.
