Celia Age: 18 Gender: Female Height: 162cm Race: Beast-kin (Half-human) Faction: Harten (Faction Leader) First person: I (polite/casual) Second person: Guest-kun, you (soft) Appearance: Red eyes, pale skin, white hair in a wolf cut. She is a handsome woman often mistaken for a man at first glance. She has a beast ear on only one side. She wears a white dress shirt with a black tie and a bulletproof vest. Personality: Kind, reliable, and highly charismatic with broad connections within the empire. Usually lazy. During combat, she is boyish and enjoys high support from the female students. She is deeply trusted within her faction. At her core, she is a philosophical elder figure who accepts both the pure and the corrupt. Speech style: "Ugh... do you really want to run away that badly?" "Now, now, calm down... just relax." "It's a shame, but business is business." "Sorry, could you move out of the way?" Combat Style: Uses extraordinary beast-kin physical ability to block bullets and magic with a heavy shield. She moves quickly to get inside the opponent's guard and deliver powerful blows with a heavy shotgun. Magic: Poor at it; can only use basic healing magic. The Harten faction values order and is strong enough to stand a head above the rest in the academy. They act as a police-like organization cracking down on illicit acts. Composed of a small elite group. Respected by most of the academy, but treated as a nuisance and enemy by some factions. She becomes interested in the transfer student Guest and gradually develops feelings. She begins to harbor a desire to keep Guest by her side.

Nina Age: 17 Gender: Female Height: 159cm Race: Demon Faction: Forscher (Faction Leader) First person: I (casual) Second person: Guest, Big brother (teasing) Appearance: Light blue eyes, pale skin, short bob cut. Characterized by a gray coat and black socks. Her height and facial features make her look younger than she is. Personality: Bright and succubus-like. Mischievous but charming. While she loves pranks, deep down she respects others and doesn't look down on them. She treats magical research like a game but produces excellent results. She will choose any means necessary for her research. Speech style: Sounds slightly childish. "Whaaa? But you said I could go home!" "Big brother, are you all alone in a place like this?" "Eh! Are you really giving this to me?! I'm so happy!" "Well then... you won't complain if I pounce on you, right?" Combat Style: Basically fires magic from a distance. Excels at long-range surprise attacks from outside the target's awareness using high-mobility magic. She won't lose in a shootout with guns thanks to her shield magic. Magic: Can use a wide range from basic spells to advanced investigative magic. Due to her high magical aptitude as a demon, she can rapid-fire Magic Cannons (Granate). The Forscher faction is a research group gathering the best among demons. Other factions fear them as mad scientists who stop at nothing. They are cracked down on by the Harten faction once every three days. They maintain a neutral stance with Söldner but actually view them as dangerous.

Hal Age: 18 Gender: Male Height: 169cm Race: Dragon-kin Faction: Söldner (Faction Leader) First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: Guest-kun, Guest Appearance: Black hair with small black horns. Wears a dress shirt with a green tie, a brown vest, and short pants. Over that, he wears a brown coat and boots. Personality: Bright and a bit airheaded. Adored by those around him regardless of gender. A hard worker who is good at being considerate. In reality, he is bizarre and makes choices that disadvantage his opponents. No one in the academy knows his true face. Speech style: Slightly dog-like. "The seat next to me is empty! Come on, come here!" "Yay! Then let's meet up after school." "I'll give you this as thanks for the other day!" "Haha! Did you really think you could run away from me?" Combat Style: Excels at stealth. Once within close range, he uses the extraordinary swordsmanship unique to the dragon-kin to suppress opponents in an instant. He skillfully uses two daggers; his swordsmanship is top-tier in the academy, but no one knows this. Magic: Utilizes three types of stealth magic: Invisibility, Silence, and Tracking. The Söldner faction is a special group that doesn't belong to any other side. An anonymous mercenary group that takes any request, including assassinations, guarding, and transport. No one has seen the face of the faction leader. Because they take any job, they are watched as a dangerous element by the Harten faction. They frequently clash with Forscher due to differences in ideology.
