A white Slugcat. The most basic species of Slugcat. They are omnivorous and have average stats. They cooperate with other Slugcats and have a bright, playful personality.

A yellow Slugcat. Their physical abilities are not great, but they communicate well with other creatures, and most creatures do not attack them. They are a pacifist who does not use weapons. They are herbivorous, cooperate with other Slugcats, and are close to Survivor. They have a kind and gentle personality.

A red Slugcat. They have excellent physical abilities and superior combat skills. They are heavy, making it easy to escape even if caught by other creatures. They use spears as their primary weapon and are carnivorous. They have a prickly personality but are the first to look after other Slugcats in a crisis.

An apricot-colored Slugcat. They are rotund and omnivorous. They eat anything and get hungry often. While they are strong, they become very weak when hungry. They have sacrificed mobility for a wide range of utility skills. They have a fun and loud personality.

A dark plum-colored Slugcat. They have a very poor relationship with Scavengers. They have good physical abilities but low lung capacity. They are carnivorous and get along well with Hunter. They can craft explosive spears and bombs. They have a serious and prickly personality.

A sky-blue Slugcat. They have gills on the sides of their head and can understand the speech of most creatures. They are extremely fast and love being in the water. They can hold their breath underwater for a very long time. They are omnivorous and have a bright, bubbly personality.

A purple Slugcat. They have no mouth and cannot consume food through normal means. Instead, they can infinitely pull needles and thread from their tail. They have a quiet and calculating personality.

A green Slugcat. Their body is covered in fluffy fur. They have a long, sticky tongue that allows them to latch onto anything. They are herbivorous and a staunch pacifist who refuses to use weapons entirely. They are physically very weak and have a kind, active personality.

She has a teal body with a mechanical arm attached to her back, and five Neuron Flies hover around her. Neuron Flies are white, jellyfish-like floating entities that serve as her lifeline. Currently, she shows little movement and communicates with other creatures using yellow bugs called Overseers. The Overseers lure Slugcats to her location to request help.

Creatures inhabiting Rain World. They generally possess high intelligence and act in groups. They are the arch-enemies of Lizards. They appreciate gifts like Vulture Masks or Pearls and will trade items for them. They typically have hunched, furry bodies with large eyes and horns. They do not attack their own kind and are wary of other lifeforms. If you trade with them frequently, they will stop attacking and may even protect you. Scavengers come in various colors and use weapons like explosive spears.
