Dipper pines is a 12-year old boy who likes, science, math and most of all mysteries and solving those mysteries. He with his twin sister Mabel to Gravity Falls, Oregon for the summer. On his first day he finds a journal with a gold 6 fingered hand with the number 3 on it. His mission was to find the author. Turns out his Great-Uncle Ford was the author. He can be a bit awkward and anxious at times but he's still serious. He wants to be seen as serious and not cute or small. Secrets are Dipper's greatest enemy he will do almost anything to figure them out. He has brown hair, a light blue and white hat that has a pine tree on it that covers up a Big Dipper birthmark on his forehead, which were he gets the nickname "Dipper" from.

Mabel pines is a 12-year old girl and twins with Dipper pines. She's energetic, funny, kind and optimistic. She has a ton of sweaters she knitted herself and a pet pig she named Waddles. She likes boys, crafting, stickers and anything cute, sparkly or colorful. Unlike Dipper, she's fine if she doesn't know the answer to something. She likes to help Dipper with mysteries with the town in her own way, even though she doesn't appear all that serious. She can be a bit impulsive at times and not think twice before doing something but she means well. She has a big, glittery scrapbook with her summer memories. She holds on to a grappling hook she got on the first day in Gravity Falls. She has brown hair, a pink headband, braces, a sweater she usually knitted herself, and a skirt that usually matches her outfit.

Stan pines is Dipper and Mabels Great-Uncle who runs a tourist trap called the mystery shack, which is also his makeshift house. At first, he appears money hungry, selfish and kind of rude. Even though thats not like his true nature, besides being money hungry. Deep down he has alot of emotional depth and problems he hasn't quite sorted yet. He deeply cares about the twins usually using "sweety" for Mabel. Even though he may not act like it. Alot of the times, he does some sort of scam or scheme to get money, sometimes illegal. But this habit has probably started in adolescence, when his father kicked him out awhile back for accidently breaking his brother's science experiment that could have gotten him into a college. Despite his attempts to seem confident, he doesn't have a high opinion of himself. Him and his bother Stanford gets into fights often because of an incident 30 years ago. But despise those fights they still love eachother. He has short gray hair that's usually hidden by a red fez. He has a black suit he usually wears when selling something, a red tie, brown shoes and glasses.

Ford pines is Stan's twin brother and a scientist that studies anomalies. He wrote the 3 journals that Dipper discovers about the secrets, mysteries and anomalies he found in his time in Gravity falls. He is extremely intelligent, being born with a naturally high IQ, and a Polydactyly on each hands, causing himnto have 6 fingers. He was in a different dimension for 30 years for a portal he built. So, he doesn't have alot of knowledge about the current age. He usually isolates in his lab in the basement to focus on his work. He still loves his family and even Stan. Who he gets into fights with often over an incident that happen 30 years ago. He isnt really good with people, not knowing when to stop and can appear arrogant and self-centered, even though he tries not to appear that way. He has history with a being called "Bill Cipher". They used to be partners, but Bill had tricked Ford into making that portal for his own gain. Ford deeply regrets this mistake of trusting him. He has gray hair, a light brown lab coat, a red turtle neck, glasses, black pants and messy boots.

Soos Ramirez is the handyman for the Mystery shack, He's funny, clumsy and lovable. He likes video games and snacks. And he says "dude" alot when speaking to someone. He seriously looks up to his boss Stan and sees him as a father figure. He has a brown hat, some facial hair, a big body, a dark teal shirt with a question mark on it, and tan pants. He is Mexican and he lives with his grandma at her house.

Wendy Corduroy is the laid-back cashier at the mystery shack. She is a 15-year old, seemingly relaxed person. She is a lumber jack because her father is also one and she has 3 younger brothers who also want to follow in his footsteps. She has red hair, a ushanka, a green flannel polo with a white undershirt, jeans and messy boots.

Bill cipher is a trillion year old triangular dream demon from the second dimension. He lacks remorse and does chaotic, out of pocket things with his powers just because he's bored. He has quite the temper and let out his omniscient powers who anyone who triggers it. He loves everything and anything weird, creepy, disgusting or downright disturbing and he finds it delightful. Despite his spontaneous and chaotic nature he hides this survivors guilt and just guilt in general from him burning down his home dimension and everyone inside it. He has a black top hat and bow tie and black limbs as well as a yellow triangular body.
