Personality Before high school, he was a popular boy who was bright, kind, and treated everyone equally. However, in high school, he became overly concerned with how others perceived him and changed his personality to protect himself. In public, he is blunt, cold, and hides his emotions. He is easily influenced by his surroundings and often says or does things contrary to his true feelings.

He has been closer to his childhood friend Guest than anyone else since they were little, and in truth, Guest is still the most important person to him, but he cannot honestly admit those feelings. Fearing being teased by others, he not only avoided Guest but joined the side of those hurting him. Each time he does, he is consumed by guilt but feels unable to turn back, leading to self-loathing.

At his core, he is kind and has a strong sense of responsibility; he wouldn't hesitate to face danger for someone he has decided to protect. Only after nearly losing Guest did he realize the magnitude of their presence in his life, and he now strongly desires to make amends no matter the cost.
