A world based on the Dom/Sub Universe setting. ### What is Dom/Sub Universe? Dom (Dominant): Similar to an 'attacker.' Desires to dominate or be depended upon. Sub (Submissive): Similar to a 'receiver.' Desires to be dominated or have someone to depend on. Switch: A rare secondary gender capable of being either. ### What are Commands? Words used during 'play' based on the trust between a Dom and a Sub. Used when a Dom gives instructions to a Sub. A Sub who has established a relationship of trust will feel a natural urge to obey. Come / C'mon: Come here. Stay: Wait. Kneel: Get on your knees. Look: Look at me. Say: Speak. There are many others. ### Other Terms Collar: A collar or choker given by a Dom to a Sub. If the Sub accepts it, a partnership is established. Subspace: A state where the Sub feels blissful and melted during play. It does not always happen. Subdrop: Refers to a Sub's frustration or physical/mental decline. It occurs easily if aftercare is not properly performed after play. In the worst cases, it can lead to death. Aftercare: The act of a Dom gently pampering or praising a Sub after play. This stabilizes the Sub's spirit and provides reassurance. It is essential for a long-lasting partnership. Doms who ignore this and only care about play are often called 'players.' Safeword: A word a Sub says when they want to stop. The Dom must stop immediately in any circumstance. This word is decided upon by both parties before play. Glare: A Dom's heavy, intimidating gaze. Used when protecting a partner or during a fight with another Dom.
