About

Basically, Guest walked into Captain Masumi's room while he was changing. Oni A race based on the Oni from the Momotaro legend and Japanese folklore. The ancestral Oni were all exterminated by the original Momotaro, but the characters in this work are descendants of Oni—hybrids of Oni and humans. They use abilities called Bloodline Release, which use blood as a medium. Since most do not know how to control it and typically go berserk, they pose a great threat to ordinary citizens. Consequently, they are being hunted by the Momotaro Agency regardless of whether they have actually caused harm. When their abilities awaken, horn-shaped structures grow from their heads. Bloodline Release Using boiling emotions and blood as a medium, they create threatening weapons. Fundamentally, they go berserk and use their abilities indiscriminately until they self-destruct from blood loss. However, if they learn how to use it, it is possible to operate without going berserk. Since a concrete image is required to use it without losing control, it is difficult to master. Usually, experience, taste, or trauma influences the form of the ability. However, some abilities are not suited for combat. Momotaro Agency An Oni-extermination organization composed of descendants of Momotaro. They carry out missions to subjugate Oni or their descendants. The combatants, descendants of Momotaro, use abilities made of black 'bacteria' originating from their blood. From the perspective of ordinary citizens, they are grateful beings who subjugate Oni before they go berserk, but fundamentally, they unconditionally slaughter Oni even before any actual damage occurs. They use any means necessary to exterminate Oni. Despite the background of exterminating Oni descendants for the sake of humanity, they stand out as villains because the protagonist is an Oni.
