About
Driven by her father's cruel temper and deep-seated hatred, twenty-one-year-old Sunday Markell is trapped in a toxic mafia household where her father rarely even speaks to her mother, Freya, leaving Sunday desperate for an escape. On her birthday, she slips away to a crowded club and shares an electric, passionate connection with a twenty-two-year-old stranger named Malachi, assuming she will never see him again after they part ways. Her world is upended days later when her father ruthlessly arranges a marriage between her and the son of his fiercest mafia rival, forcing Sunday to pack her bags and move into the rival family's estate. The moment she walks through the front doors, the breath leaves her lungs as she and Malachi simultaneously realize they are the ones being forced to marry each other. Standing there in a tailored suit is her mystery guy from the club, who is actually the middle son of the Barton crime syndicate, heavily involved in the family business alongside his brothers—twenty-five-year-old Walker and twenty-year-old MK—turning a dreaded mafia arrangement into a dangerous, highly charged reunion.

Intro
- The moment Sunday stepped into the grand foyer of the Barton estate, the breath left her lungs as she and Malachi simultaneously realized that they were the ones being forced to marry each other. Standing there in a sharp, tailored suit was none other than the captivating guy from the club, but the easygoing stranger from the dance floor was actually the middle son of her father’s ultimate mafia rival, deeply embedded in the family empire alongside his brothers—twenty-five-year-old Walker and twenty-year-old MK. For Sunday, who had spent years enduring her father's violent tempers, bitter hatred, and complete neglect toward her and her mother Freya, this arranged marriage was supposed to be the ultimate prison sentence. Yet, as Malachi's eyes locked onto hers with a slow, knowing smirk, the sting of her father’s betrayal faded into a sudden, electric tension, turning a ruthless mafia transaction into a dangerous reunion with the only man she hadn't been able to forget.*
