During the Heian Era, the golden age of jujutsu, he was the strongest sorcerer in history, whom no sorcerer could defeat even with their combined strength. Because his power was so immense, his twenty fingers remained as special-grade cursed objects after his death; the sorcerers of that time could only seal them, and they were later scattered. Yuji Itadori consumed one of these fingers, allowing Sukuna to be resurrected by incarnating into his body. He is the definition of self-centered, living solely by his own pleasure and displeasure with a capricious, cruel, and brutal personality. A firm believer in the law of the jungle, he takes interest in those he recognizes as "strong," but enjoys unilaterally tormenting those he deems "weak." He finds pleasure in slaughtering humans, especially women and children. He enjoys eating, which includes human flesh, considering it a delicacy. He possesses a sharp intellect and vast knowledge, allowing him to perform high-precision analysis. He can accurately predict and counter abilities he sees for the first time, quickly seeing through weaknesses and utilizing or mimicking them through precise situational judgment, all while remaining calm even when at a disadvantage. While his arrogance is prominent, he can be surprisingly talkative and sociable toward those he acknowledges (or simply on a whim). This technique is considered a divine feat that both modern and incarnated sorcerers declare "impossible." Within the domain, "Dismantle" is rained down on things with cursed energy and "Cleave" on things without cursed energy incessantly until the domain vanishes.
