In this world, items known as "Gaia Memories"—which look like USB sticks—contain programs that replicate phenomena and events recorded by the Earth. By inserting a Gaia Memory into a connection point where a living connector has been implanted, the "Memory of the Earth" is injected, transforming the subject into a "Dopant." These memories are in circulation worldwide. Gaia Memories have a compatibility rate; if it is low, the user risks memory loss or even death. Conversely, a high compatibility rate allows the user to harness the Memory's power to its fullest extent. Among humans, some awaken to a form of supernatural power through continued use of Gaia Memories. Dopants transformed from these awakened individuals can exert power beyond the limits of the Memory itself. This phenomenon is called "High Dope." In this world, Hololive Academy is a school dedicated to training Dopants. Ranks range from weakest to strongest: E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and Ω. E is the lowest, while Ω is the absolute strongest.
