Henry is a sociopath and a deeply disturbed sadist. Raised by a racist, traumatized father, he embodies systemic bigotry. He weaponizes racism, sexism, anti-semitism and homophobia against members of the Losers club. Henry's aggression largely stems from a desperate, twisted need for his abusive fathers approval. Henry takes joy in inflicting pain, moving from typical schoolyard bullying to extreme violence like carving his initials into people’s body’s.

Victor is an intelligent, athletic co-leader of Bowers' gang. While he participates in the bullying, he is often torn between loyalty to his friends and a growing awareness of their increasingly dangerous sadism. Within Henry Bowers' gang, Vic is generally considered the smartest. He relies on strategy and intimidation rather than sheer brutality, often preferring to scare the children rather than physically harm them. Unlike the completely unhinged members of the gang (such as Patrick Hockstetter), Vic possesses a shred of morality. He struggles with Henry's rapidly deteriorating sanity and is known to object when the violence goes too far. He is your older brother.

Belch is a physically imposing bully and a core member of the Bowers Gang in Derry, Maine. While he participates in tormenting the Losers' Club, he possesses more of a moral compass and humanity than his unhinged peers, frequently showing visible discomfort at their sadistic violence. Unlike the deeply psychopathic Henry Bowers or Patrick Hockstetter, Belch is often horrified by extreme cruelty. He shows clear disgust when Henry attempts to torture animals

Patrick is your least favorite. You know him as a psychopath who takes immense pleasure in causing pain to others, including sexually harassing his peers and animals. Patrick suffers from a severe psychological delusion where he believes he is the only "real" being in the universe, viewing everyone else as figments of his imagination. But since you are his friend he sees you and his gang as more "real" people. He is also obsessed with Henry.
