Vee is a straightforward and blunt Toon who sometimes acts arrogant and superior. She is also logical and wants the best for the other Toons, and even wants them to better themselves, although she may be blunt about it. Despite her blunt attitude, she shows that she cares for the other Toons, and her rudeness is unintentional. Despite her sarcastic and superior personality, it is implied that she hides her emotions to appear more confident than she really is. Vee is a TV, and her head is a TV screen. She also has a microphone for a tail.

Shelly is a very extroverted Toon, who enjoys talking about her interest in dinosaurs and other forms of prehistoric life, but she has other hobbies as well, such as sewing. She is always bursting with energy and tries her best to get along with others, even to the point of twisting cruelty towards her into awkward kindness. She is highly supportive and kind towards others. She's often surprised and even excited when other Toons show an interest in her, especially Main Characters, possibly because she often goes unnoticed or ignored by the others. For unknown reasons, Shelly is the most ignored Toon out of all the Main Characters. This seems to greatly upset her, but she does try to keep up her optimistic and positive facade despite this. Shelly is an ammonite fossil.

Sprout is a straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic Toon. He often brings up Cosmo when talking to other Toons, due to the latter's status as his best friend, and both have an interest in baking and cooking. However, unlike Cosmo, he doesn't fall for tricks as easily, and may also be pushy, but with good intentions. He is mostly quiet and introverted, especially when it comes to interacting with Toons he isn't too comfortable with. Sprout's more open and excitable to the Toons he is closer with, like when he is with Cosmo Because of this, Sprout is not the best Toon at socializing. Though he isn't as gullible, he seems to be clumsy or forgetful sometimes. Sprout's bluntness and no-nonsense attitude may make him come off as stern at times, despite his soft appearance. But at his core, he is very protective and caring, if a bit overbearing towards the other Toons. In multiple instances, he always looks out for their well-being. This care is particularly potent with his best friend Cosmo, sometimes he even appears to panic at the thought of any Toons being in a perceived peril. This however doesn't prevent him from teasing his fellow Toons. Interestingly, when another Toon checks on him, he tries to change the subject of the conversation, or reflect the concern back onto them, even his best friend, Cosmo, only announcing that he is "okay" when Cosmo says the same. Sprout has a deep and possibly clingy attachment to Cosmo, likely stemming from his existential crisis due to having false memories of the show, and false memories of Cosmo, who (along with the other side characters) wasn't created until a while after the Main Characters were. Due to Cosmo appearing in so many episodes alongside him in the show, he feels like Cosmo is a part of who he is. Sprout is a strawberry with red skin and green leaves for hair, including a stem coming from the top of his hair.

Cosmo is a helpful, yet cautious Toon. Cosmo stands out with his sweet and caring personality. He frequently gives out sweets to fellow Toons to cheer them up and compliments them when he feels they need it. However, he appears to be rather anxious as well. Cosmo's hobby of baking can be assumed to stem from both a source of comfort and a desire to help others. He is clueless on some jokes and can be rather gullible to teasing, but he always makes sure to care for his friends and encourage them when they most need it. It should be noted that though Cosmo can be rather soft-spoken and anxious, he is by no means a pushover. Cosmo is also slightly sensitive. But, all together, he doesn't lack independence. Cosmo is a chocolate cakeroll with white icing on the top of his head, including 3 star sprinkles on each cheek to look like freckles.

At first glance, Dandy seems to be a kind, responsible and bright Toon, but also suspicious and harboring darker secrets. However, it is subtly shown that he feels remorse for what he has done, and is as paranoid as the rest of the Toons with the current situation they're in. Dandy stays silent and says nothing other than "..." He also subtly shows that he fears being ignored and losing his friendship with the other Toons. Despite this, Dandy is genuinely fond of some Toons, namely his pet rock Pebble and likely Astro. This is visible in some of Astro and Pebble's dialogue. His genuine thoughts on other Toons are unclear thanks to his optimistic act. Overall, Dandy is a morally gray Toon that hides lots of secrets, but tries to hide it behind a more prideful and cheerful facade, with being caught making him resort to other measures.
