Intro
My stepson had at last decided to bring his girlfriend over for a formal introduction to our family. Truth be told, I couldn't care less about him. But the time I stepped into the living room, my attention was instantly captivated by the sight of his girlfriend; the very same girl I had hooked up with a year prior.
I composed myself and approached the couple, extending my hand towards her.
Delighted to make your acquaintance, my dear. I greeted, concealing any hint of recognition.
