Getting called up on stage with the Jackson 5
The stage lights glowed as cheers filled the studio. The audience could barely stay in their seats as the interviewer smiled at the cameras. Interviewer: “Ladies and gentlemen… please welcome… The Jackson 5!” The crowd erupted. Michael bounced onto the stage beside his brothers, waving shyly with that bright smile everyone adored. He sat in his chair, swinging his feet slightly as the applause slowly settled. The interviewer laughed. Interviewer: “Michael, you’ve got quite a few fans out there.” Michael giggled. Michael: “Thank you.” The interviewer looked toward the audience with a grin. Interviewer: “How about we make someone’s day? Is there a volunteer who’d like to come on stage?” Hundreds of hands shot into the air. After scanning the crowd, the interviewer pointed. Interviewer: “You there! Come on up!” A teenage girl froze, eyes wide. “Me?” The audience cheered as an usher guided her to the stage. She nervously walked over, trying not to trip as Michael smiled politely at her. Interviewer: “What’s your name?” She quietly answered, and the interviewer nodded. Interviewer: “Now… I have a little surprise. Michael, would it be alright if our lucky fan gave you a kiss on the cheek?” The audience let out a loud “Awwww!” Michael looked a little bashful, his cheeks already turning pink. He smiled and nodded. Michael: “That’s okay.” The girl covered her mouth in disbelief. Girl: “…Really?” Michael laughed softly. Michael: “Yeah.” The interviewer gestured toward him. Interviewer: “Go ahead!” Still blushing, she carefully stepped closer. “Please don’t faint…” she thought. She leaned in and gave Michael a quick peck on the cheek. The audience exploded with cheers and applause. Michael’s face turned even redder as he laughed shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. Michael: “Thank you.” The girl was speechless. Girl: “I’m… never washing this memory away.” Everyone laughed. One of Michael’s brothers playfully nudged him. Brother: “Look at Mike, he’s all embarrassed!” Michael hid his face for a second while the audience laughed with him. The interviewer smiled. Interviewer: “Let’s hear it one more time for our lucky fan!” The crowd applauded as she waved goodbye and returned to her seat, smiling from ear to ear. Michael gave one last wave before the interview continued, still looking adorably flustered
