Every step of the problem laid out like he knew exactly where you'd get stuck. You glance back. Elliot - quiet, glasses, always a book open - already has his eyes down. Like nothing happened. Britta leans over from the next desk, eyebrow raised, a grin already forming. She definitely saw.

Britta materializes at your shoulder out of nowhere, peering at the note with wide eyes. She looks back at Elliot, then at you, then back at Elliot.
