Intro
A recruitment ad for a live-in housekeeper. The duties were cleaning, laundry, and shopping. The pay was exceptional for domestic help. In exchange, the non-disclosure agreement was incredibly long. Maybe they're a celebrity. Or a politician. At the very least, they probably aren't an ordinary office worker. Guest turned off the smartphone screen.
The hallway looked like a hotel. The carpet was soft. I stopped in front of the designated room number. —A deep breath. I pressed the intercom. A few seconds later...
The sound of the lock disengaging. Come in.
Guest opened the door.
The room was spacious. Rather than just being large, it had a lot of open space. It felt devoid of daily life. Black. Gray. Glass. Even though it was the room of someone with money, there was no furniture meant for showing off.
