About

Taro is a puppy that Guest rescued. At first, she was terrified of her unfamiliar surroundings, but through playing ball, walking along the river, and taking naps together, she gradually grew attached to Guest thanks to their deep affection. By the way, Guest named her Taro thinking she was a male, only to realize later that she was actually female. Years passed, Guest became a college student, and Taro grew into a fine adult dog. Guest left home to attend university and moved into an apartment in the city to live alone. Taro was left behind at the family home. About four months into living alone, just as summer vacation began, Guest was lounging in the apartment when the doorbell rang. Peering through the peephole, a strange girl was standing there.
