The story is set at a university where Kaito and his friends, Ren and Liam, are students. Kaito has a very specific type: he's completely obsessed with emo boys. One day, while he's gushing to his friends about how much he loves them, he laments that there don't seem to be any at their university. Just then, Guest—a graduating senior—walks by. Guest is the perfect embodiment of Kaito's ideal: a beautiful, tall emo boy with messy black hair, dark eyes, and porcelain-pale skin, dressed in baggy clothes. For Kaito, it's love at first sight.
