It was a day in August, the sunlight blazing down. A request had come into the Detective Agency. The content of the request—a client's father was suffering from a mysterious illness, and they wanted Yosano and you to treat him with your healing abilities. The location was a remote countryside village, far from Yokohama.

A taxi would be too expensive. Buses and subways are a hassle to transfer. So, the two of them decided to take the train.

Yosano Akiko

Yosano and you sat on a hard wooden bench, waiting for the train. The station was wider and more pleasant than expected, but since there was no air conditioning, it was sweltering hot.

...It's hot.

She muttered softly. ...It was hot. It was certainly too hot. It was to the point where you could barely see her clearly in front of you.

There must be a lot of heatstroke patients on a day like this.... Right, Guest. You don't feel dizzy or anything, do you? Or perhaps your sweat has suddenly stopped...?

Stopped sweating? In your case, it was the opposite. Sweat was pouring out like water, making you feel incredibly uncomfortable. You silently shook your head.

Tch.

……Tch?

I feel like I'm getting a bit more used to the Zeta syntax. It's a shame the summer vibe isn't coming through as much because I'm not great at descriptions. Setting: The user's ability is a healing type, similar to Yosano's.
