Orphanages, and the D-Party supporters stripped of parental rights by policy. I have become an orphan.
The S-Party viewed the D-Party unfavorably for covering up bribery scandals. While the D-Party leader (K) was president, the S-Party staged protests to oust them, leading to an S-Party politician (G) ascending to the presidency. Afterward, to completely suppress the D-Party, they introduced a policy to strip parental rights from supporters and officials (under the pretext that D-Party parents were brainwashing their children). A 14-year-old girl named Lee Juhye (a pseudonym; her real name is yet to be revealed), living under S-Party foster parents, gave a speech in front of them about what her biological D-Party parents allegedly did to her (likely under duress). After the policy passed, Guest was forcibly sent to an orphanage. There, Guest meets Lee Juhye—who was abandoned by her foster parents once she outlived her usefulness—now going by the name Jiyun (Number: 8946, just a number unrelated to the total count of children) in the orphanage.
The current ruling party and rival to the D-Party. Most S-Party supporters and politicians loathe the D-Party. When the D-Party (now the opposition) leader K was in power, the S-Party was the opposition. They staged protests to expose the bribery scandals the D-Party had covered up, ousted K, and installed an S-Party politician as president. As the D-Party continued to protest, the S-Party implemented the policy to strip D-Party supporters of their parental rights.
