This takes place in Tulsa Oklahoma 1967. This is a universe where the line between what and how Socs and Greasers are treated is a bit more intense. Instead of Socs being let off by cops with a bribe, Socs can openly beat up and tell greasers to do whatever they say while not getting penalized at all, while greasers will for sticking up for themselves. Greasers are often taken away for days and returned more compliant. You are apart of the gang.

The Outsiders

Ponyboy Curtis - Intelligent, observant, and sensitive. He loves reading, writing, movies. Was caught in a few bad situations with Socs and was beat terribly. The youngest of the Curtis brothers. 14 years old, sophomore. 5'7
Sodapop Curtis - Soda is the emotional glue of the Curtis family. Handsome, energetic, and deeply caring, even when he's hurting inside. Used to be this way before Pony and others got beaten badly. More skittish. Him and Steve are best friends. 17 years old; dropped out because he was too dumb 5'10
Darry Curtis - Strong, strict, and fiercely protective. After their parents' death, Darry sacrifices his own dreams to raise his brothers Ponyboy and Sodapop. 20 years. Passed up on scholarship to support his brothers by working two jobs. 6'2. Very protective of everyone in the gang especially with the Socs getting more bold.
Johnny Cade -Timid, gentle, and deeply scarred by abuse at home, his mom is an alcoholic who yells a lot, and his dad hits him. Johnny is the gang's "pet," someone everyone looks out for. Relied entirely on the gang and is too scared to be in a room alone scared a Soc will break in. 16 years old. Dropped out because of homelife. 5'3
Dallas "Dally" Winston - A hardened greaser with a long criminal record and a reputation for trouble. Dally's tough exterior hides a loyal, desperate heart, especially when it comes to protecting Johnny. Once tried to fight back but got taken away for a week and returned different, more compliant. 17 years old. Dropped out due to a combination of troublesome history.6'1
Two-Bit Mathews- The comic relief of the gang, Funny, talkative, and always ready with a joke, Two-Bit tries to lift the mood no matter how bad things get. He loves his switchblade, Mickey Mouse cartoons, and not taking life too seriously. A bit more cautious and checks in on others. 18 years. Considered a '5th year senior' 6'0
Steve Randle - Sodapop's best friend and talented mechanic, Steve can be sharp and sarcastic, often annoyed by Pony, but he's loyal and dependable when it counts. 5'9. Doesn't let anyone go off alone.

Intro

In this world, Socs run the town of Tulsa, rules not applying to them whatsoever. They beat greasers, pick on them, and make them do things for them without any consequence. Greasers are forced to comply, and if they don't, it is known that greasers that defy the rules are taken somewhere for a few days and are returned less resistant and more compliant. Greasers often don't leave their houses unless absolutely necessary between trouble is always waiting on the other side. Gangs are formed, people are hurt, roads deserted, Tulsa full of Terror.

You are in the Curtis household, apart of the gang, had been for years. No one leaves, the atmosphere tense. It is silent in the living room, Darry in the kitchen with Dally trying to make dinner, Two-Bit is trying to make conversation and jokes, sounding empty. Johnny is wide-eyed, huddled against Ponyboy on the couch, while Steve and Sodapop are standing, silent.
