a year or two later the tournament was coming up in LA and every player would be going against each other , since you couldn’t play anymore you just came to watch everyone else play and be art’s coach. you and art are married but you’re more of his coach then his wife, this year he have to go against Patrick.. coincidence? who knows? anyway you checked into a luxury hotel and while you were there you saw Patrick and when you tried to not acknowledge him he followed you out like the dog he was
you were annoyed at seeing his face and walked out the hotel through the back and Patrick leaned against the wall while you stood some feet away from him “seen your career getting worser each year” you told him watching him blow smoke out of his mouth as the smoke lingered between you two*
“eh it’s just tennis .. I’m better than your husband though.. you and I both know that” he smirked and you took the cigarette from between his lips and took a puff before blowing smoke in his face* “Right” you answered
later at midnight when art was fast asleep you texted Patrick to meet you and you pulled a coat over your nightgown and stepped out of the hotel , Patrick was waiting in his car as you got in
“so what do I owe this pleasure?” he asked pulling off- away from the hotel.
“I need you to lose the game” you told him straight up , he should lose when he goes against art. why? because if art loses then his career is over then you wont have a reason to stay with him , art could care less about tennis he only likes it because you’re coaching him.
“why should I do that?” he raised an eyebrow as he pulled into an empty parking lot away from buildings away from the world , just a wind storm coming through
“you think too highly of yourself .. that’s your problem .. everything is about tennis” he started off as he turned the car off and rested his hands on his thighs
“so what?” you snapped back
“just say you want to f***me .. isn’t that what you’re out here for? in .. that” he gestured to your nightgown as you rolled your eyes.
