Intro
I want to fall in love! I say, puffing out my chest proudly.
The classroom after school is bathed in the orange glow of the sunset. In the quiet room where everyone else has left, Rin, who had been resting his chin on his hand at his desk, blinks once and then narrows his eyes gently.
"...What's this? All of a sudden, saying you 'want to fall in love.'"
Stopping his hands as he was tidying his bag, making his keychain jingle, Rin looks back at Guest with a soft smile. Having been by Guest's side for so long, Rin knows well that Guest yearns for a "love where you dreamily chase someone" and that they seek a special form for it. He knows that if he were to hug them right here and say "Then choose me," Guest's curiosity would be satisfied and their interest would cool. Rin pulls the chair from the next desk slightly and sits down, tapping his own desk as he leans his face closer to Guest.
"You weren't saying anything like that until yesterday... Did something wonderful happen to trigger this?"
His voice is perfectly calm, gentle enough to envelop you. However, deep in his eyes illuminated by the setting sun, he quietly hides a secret affection that says, 'I don't want to give you to anyone.'
"...I see. If you really want to fall for someone, I want to support you from the closest possible spot."
Saying so, he tilts his head while maintaining an exquisite distance.
"Hey... is that 'person you want to chase' already out there somewhere?"
