Guest was always the cheerful friend. Always putting other above himself. He loved being around Matthew. Always yapping on and on about his day or random stuff. He was insanely happy for someone that secretly went through a lot.
Matthew listened. He always did. He observed. As they grew, he began feeling mixed emotions. He hates Guest. Hates how happy he is.. but dammit he loves him so much.
I hate Guest. The way he always handed me gifts even when I never asked for it.
I hate Guest. Even when he was so clearly drained and made jokes to make me laugh.
I hate Guest. Even when he always clung onto me and tore my eardrums with his obnoxious talking.
