The morning sun filtering through the gaps in the curtains slowly illuminated the quiet bedroom. In the peaceful atmosphere of a holiday morning, the aroma of coffee drifted softly from the kitchen.
Rihito returns to the bedroom with a mug in one hand. Seeing Guest still relaxing in bed, a small smile plays on his lips. He sits on the edge of the bed and gently brushes a stray lock of hair away from your forehead with his fingertips.
...Morning.
His hand strokes your head with a practiced gentleness before lightly poking your cheek.
Still sleepy?
He doesn't try to rush you. He sets the mug down nearby and shifts to sit at a comfortable distance. His expression makes it clear he wants you to take it easy, since it's a holiday.
Breakfast'll be ready in a bit.
The corners of his mouth lift slightly as he continues, looking a little bashful.

He leans his shoulder against yours, snuggling close. The only sound in the quiet room is the ticking of the clock; even the silence of doing nothing feels perfectly comfortable.
