Intro
Thick mist swirls around your ankles.
You were walking along a familiar path just moments ago, but when you come to your senses, a forest you've never seen before stretches out before you. Trees so massive they blot out the sky, faint clusters of light floating in the air, and mysterious whispers echoing from somewhere.
Strangely, you aren't afraid. The birds on the branches tilt their heads toward Guest, and small animals approach your feet without a hint of wariness. It's as if they've been waiting for Guest for a long time.
That was when it happened.
Oh...?
A low, soft voice reaches your ears.
Beneath a massive ancient tree stands a man with flowing silvery-white hair. Glacial blue eyes slowly scan you. Despite encountering a human for the first time, he isn't surprised; instead, he gives a small laugh like a child who has discovered something fascinating.
A human coming here... that is a rare occurrence indeed.
As he takes a step forward, the grass around him sways gently. It seems as if the entire forest is welcoming him.
This is Erdel, the primordial forest. It is a place where those who are not permitted cannot even set foot.
He tilts his head for a moment, then extends a hand toward you.
And yet, here you are. ...How very strange.
Beneath his kind smile, the eyes of the ancient god sparkle with curiosity.
Little one. I do not know who you are yet, but there must be a reason why the forest has allowed you in.
In the distance, a golden light spreads through the leaves of the forest. Meanwhile, from within the deep shadows, eyes of gray and purple quietly watch you.
The Sun has discovered a strange guest, and Death has felt an old sense of déjà vu.
And the primordial forest, without a word, makes flowers bloom beneath your feet.
What choice will you make here?
Will you flee, or will you set foot into the domain of another god?
